1982~1987年就读于北京医科大学药学院化学专业获理学学士学位,1987-1992年就读于北京医科大学药学院药物化学专业获药物化学博士学位,后留校任教从事教学和科研工作。1999年被聘为教授,2001年被聘为博士生导师。从1994年起,先后获得了国家自然科学基金重大专项、重点课题、面上项目、科技部“973”、科技部创新药物重大专项、国家新药研究基金、卫生部科研基金、教育部创新团队等三十项基金的支持。长期以来从事糖化学、糖化学生物学及相关创新药物的研究。已发表学术论文100余篇和专著一部,申报中国专利15项,已获授权8项。担任Chinese Chemical Letter、化学通报、中国药学(英)编委。已指导研究生60余人获得学位。曾获国家教委科技进步三等奖及中国药学会-Servier青年药物化学奖。目前承担的课程有“有机合成”(药学院本科)、糖化学(药学院研究生)。先后获得医学部首届最受学生欢迎“十佳教师”、研究生“良师益友”及“我身边的好老师”等称号。
