Research Interests
Our research interests are primarily in the fields of medicinal chemistry and chemical biology. Our work focuses on the discovering of novel anti-cancer agents targeting CHK1 (checkpoint kinase 1), tubulin or dual CHK1&MK2 (mitogen-activated protein kinase-activated protein kinase 2) against chemotherapy-resistant and refractory cancers. Some research topics we have been working on recently:
● Checkpoint kinase 1 (CHK1) inhibitors as anti-cancer potentiating agents
● Novel anti-tubulin agents
● Dual CHK1&MK2 inhibitors as anti-KRAS-mutant cancer drugs
