He-Qing Huang graduated from Peking University Health Science Center in 1987. She currently is an associate professor in the Department of Chemical Biology of Peking University Health Science Center, executive associate editor-in-chief of Journal of Chinese Pharmaceutical Sciences, vice president of Overseas Chinese Confederacy of Peking University Health Science Center, and vice president of the worker’s union of School of Pharmaceutical Sciences. Her research focuses on carbohydrate chemistry and peptide drugs. She has published over 10 papers and applied for several patents.

She has been teaching undergraduate courses of pharmacy, basic medicine, clinical medicine, preventive medicine and others. From years of teaching experiences, she developed her own teaching styles and gained the appraise of her students. In addition, she revised the teaching materials and improved laboratory course teaching for undergraduates. She also led the project on teaching reform “The reform of the lab course teaching and contents of class courses to educate creative talents”. She was awarded the first prize of Peking University teaching achievements in 2004. She was awarded the first prize in the competition of “Young college teachers lecture of School of Pharmaceutical Sciences” in 2002, and awarded the “Excellent teacher of Peking University Health Science Center” twice.
