Professional Details

LING Xiao-mei is a professor of pharmaceutical analysis, the associate director of Department of Chemical Biology, School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Peking University, the editorial board member of Chinese Journal of Pharmaceutical Analysis and the Pharmaceutical Analysis Committee member of Chinese Pharmaceutical Association. She has been engaging in the teaching and research of instrumental analysis and pharmaceutical analysis since 1982, published a text book (Experiment and Technique of Advanced Instrumental Analysis) for postgraduate students, and obtained some valuable results in the following research works: (1) researches on drug pharmacokinetics and metabonomics: adopting chromatographic hyphenated technology to study the ADMET of new drugs in biosome; (2) investigating interactions between biomolecules and interactions of biomolecules with drug molecules; (3) qualitative and quantative screening of drugs; (4) separation of chiral drugs and their interactions with biomacromolecules; (5) coating capillary columns by immobilization protein or receptor-over-expressed cells and their applications in drug domain; (6) DNA separation and steady-state kinetics study of nucleotide analogues incorporation using non-gel capillary electrophoresis; (7) researches on quality standards and stability of new medicines; and (8) determinating the content of in vivo and in vitro fatty acids.
